Mount Vernon Hospital
In memory of Rachel we are fundraising for the Lynda Jackson Macmillan Centre at Mount Vernon Hospital. The Lynda Jackson Macmillan Centre was opened in June 1993 to provide support and information to people affected by cancer. It was one of the first centres of its kind. The LJMC provides a service that supports patients and their families and helps them cope with all aspects of the disease from diagnosis, through treatment and beyond.
Breast Cancer Now
Breast Cancer Now is the only charity in the UK to support young women with Breast Cancer. Breast Cancer Now has a vision that by 2050, everyone diagnosed with breast cancer will live and be supported to live well. Breast Cancer Now is the biggest fundraiser towards Breast Cancer in the UK raising more than £45 million a year towards research and pivotal support for people living with Breast Cancer. By donating you’ll be supporting young women like Rachel to come to terms with their diagnosis and provide them with the best support and treatment.
Cancer Research UK
Cancer Research UK fund scientists, doctors and nurses to help beat cancer sooner. They also provide cancer information to the public. Cancer Research UK was formed 20 years ago, in 2002. However, CRUKs history goes back much further, to 1902, with the founding of the Imperial Cancer Research Fund. Thanks to supporters like you, their pioneering work into how to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer has benefitted millions of lives over the past 120 years.
